b) Internship, Education Model (Number of Semesters per Academic Year, Practice in Industry and Institutions, Industry-Based Teaching Internship, Implementation of Practical Training, and Whether It Can Be Conducted Outside the Province of the Higher Education Institution):
In our program, students take the courses Teaching Practice I and Teaching Practice II in the 7th and 8th semesters in order to gain professional experience. As part of these courses, students engage in activities such as classroom observation and teaching for a minimum of 6 hours per week over 14 weeks at official educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, as assigned by the provincial/district directorates of national education.
These teaching practice activities are carried out in educational institutions located in the city center where the faculty is situated.
c) Required Clothing and Equipment for the Profession:
Protective equipment such as lab coats, gloves, and goggles is used during laboratory courses in our program.
d) Costs of Consumables, Equipment and Materials Used in Course Applications; Fees for Exams, Materials, and Educational Services:
No educational or instructional fees are charged.

Our faculty is located on the main campus in the city center of Balıkesir. In addition to the three main academic buildings (Blocks A, B, and C) where classes are held, the campus includes the Reading Hall building, the Continuing Education Center, the Distance Education Center, Necatibey Faculty of Education Kindergarten, the Medico-Social Unit, and the Altıeylül District Health Clinic.
The faculty features laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science Education, and Computer Science, as well as conference halls and reading rooms. Furthermore, both indoor and outdoor sports facilities—such as tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and a synthetic football field—are available in the faculty’s garden area, serving both students and staff.
f) Opportunities for Part-Time Student Employment and Whether Payment is Provided During Internships or Practical Training Under Certain Conditions:
Students who require financial support to continue their education may be selected, based on specific criteria, to work part-time in their Faculties, Schools, Institutes, or other units of our university. The university's need for part-time student workers is announced at the beginning of October or during other periods as needed, depending on the nature of the job and the qualifications of the student.
